W7Pro64bit ICS SharedAccess Event ID 31004 DNS proxy agent was unable to allocate 0 bytes of memory

    Question

  • Using ICS on W&Pro64bit I receive errors in my system logs Event ID 31004

The DNS proxy agent was unable to allocate 0 bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error.

I do not find any solutions searching TechNet.

  • Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.

Based on my research, I would like to suggest you update network driver to the latest, and check the result.

If Internet Connection Sharing works normally, you could ignore this error.

    Hope it helps.
