    Hi,

I would like to confirm the following points first:

    1.    Can you burn other files (or a smaller video) to the disk?

    2.    Can you burn this video to other disks?

    3.    What’ are the size of this video and the disk?

    4.    Can you read disks using the DVD recorder?

To get the issue resolved in a timely manner, I recommend also contacting your computer manufacturer for more information.

  • Hi, I'm currently having this issue with my Matshita DVD UJ850S.  I am using Sony DVD+R DL

This is the first time I'm using the drive to burn such a large video.  I've burned smaller sized videos without a problem in the past.

I have been able to burn smaller files onto plain DVDRs
I have been able to burn portions of the video I'm burning onto other disks (Memorex DVDR)
    My entire video is 7GB.
I have watched DVD movies from my laptop, where my Matshita DVD drive is installed.

I looked at the links you provided.  My laptop came installed with Vista, so this is, or should not, be the problem.

Please help.  I'm using Roxio to burn the disk, if it matters any.
