Task Scheduler 2008 R2 fail to create file

    Question

  • When I run my bat file through the task scheduler - it will start up ok, and initiate a sql file to run. In the Sql file - it is stated that is shall spool a file on c:\temp. When I run the job through the Task Scheduler - it will not create the file. When I manually click on the bat file which then starts up the sql file - it works fine - the file is created. What is the problem here? - I run it as administrator and have marked the box run only when users are logged on - If I choose run weather user is logged on or not it will not start at all. Is it somehow a credentiel problem or what is going on ? - How can I get the task scheduler to create the file which is stated in the sql file....?

  • You might try running it with system account credentials.
