  • Same here on 2008 R2 Evaluation. Hardware: Intel S3210SHLC + E5200 + 8GB Kingston Non-ECC + Adaptec 5805Z SAS/SATA Controller.

All I did was I joined the server to my domain and installed Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 + Symantec Endpoint Protection Client Shield. So it's a pretty fresh install.

In my setup this error appears as soon as I open the "Windows Server Backup" Panel in the "Server Manager".

  • Same story here too. I too have this error on one of my servers when I open the Windows Server Backup on WS 2008 R2 running on Intel Xeon. I think, it first appears after restoring the System State of the server. Nevertheless, WSB panel seems working well.

    Any suggestions?
