How to start IIS manager on windows server 2008 R2?

    Question

  • I have IIS installed my Windows server 2008 R2 system (I can see Inet pub and wwroot directories). How do I start the IIs manager to create virtual directories.

  • I did not find it in admin tools. The server manager shows IIS Management console not installed. I may have to install it, please let me know how to install it.

  • This link show IIS installation, but that is already installed. When I click on 'Web Server (IIS) Installed' on the Add Roles->Select Server Roles Wizard it shows me a msg ' additional roles can be added from Roles home page'. I only need IIS Management Console/IIS Manager.

    How do I get that?

  • Have you tried this option?

    1. On the Start menu, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then click Run.

    2. In the Open box, type inetmgr and then click OK
