Expired Password Users can´t login into Remote Desktop Web Application...

    Question

  • Users with Expired Passwords can´t login into Remote Desktop Web Application.

RDWA shows "The user name or password that you entered is not valid. Try typing it again."

So, this way, we (admins) change their password and the remote users never have chance to change it, unless they have an exchange account, they can access Outlook WebApp anc change his AD password.

Is there a way to enable they log into RDWA so when they open the RD Session will be asked for password change?

    Thankyou in advance.

  • Hi,

RD Web Access does not support logon with an account that has an expired password.  One suggestion I have would be to modify the login page so that it would offer a link to the user to a custom .aspx page that allows them to change their password.  You would need to know some programming to get this to work, and/or use look for sample code on the web that does this.  By default the RD Web pages are located under the following folder:

    C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\Pages\<language code>

    -TP
