  • Hi,

    Thanks for the post.

We could also use the following method to disable changes to daylight saving time.

    1.    Create a registry file.

    *********************

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation]

    "DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet"=dword:00000001

    *********************

    2.    After that, let’s assign a Computer Startup Script to apply it.

    Hope this helps.

  • Here is an ADM template you could use - not self-tested:

    ---8<---

    CLASS MACHINE

    CATEGORY "Windows Time settings"
POLICY "Disable automatic set of daylight savings time"
    KEYNAME "System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation"
    VALUENAME "DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet"
    END POLICY
    END CATEGORY

  • Hi !

    The Registry File simply works

    it removes the tick

but i need to open the time window (double click on time in corner of screen) and i must go to time zone tab and just click ok

then the time will get back and set fine

is it anyway to get rid of that or do that automatically by a script or .. ?
