adding a 2008 Server domain controller to an existing Server 2003 domain

  • <p>I have followed all the procedures in preparing the active directory</p><p>adprep /forestprep</p><p>adprep /domainprep</p><p>adprep /domainprep /gpprep</p><p>adprep /rodcprep</p><p>the domain controllers are synchronized and tested accurate.&nbsp; However when installing the Server 2008 x64 Active Directory domain Services - dcpromo.exe within the Server Manager I receive the following:</p><p>To install a domain controller into this Active Directory forest, you must first prepare the forest using adrep /forestprep.... etc...&nbsp; I have read many postings and confirmed the Active Directory on our 2003 servers have been prepared.</p><p></p><p> </p>
