New (3 weeks) Server 2012 Domain.......2 Srvr2012 Std DC's
All domain servers are VM's VMware 5.1
First DC (DC1) now can not access internet (was working fine until a few days ago)
Likely a coincidence, but also new issue with opening IE desktop.... prompts that Internet Explorer can't be opened using the built in Administrator Account although right clicking and openeing as Domain\Administrator credentials is successful
Both DC's (DC1 and DC2) are also DNS servers and the troubled DC1 is running DHCP and WDS
DC2 and all other servers are functioning perfectly...no IE restrictions or browsing issues
Single NIC static IP configuration
Users are reporting some slow network performance that is coinciding with this issue discovery
DC1 Control Panel>Network and Internet>Internet Connections
Connectivity = No Internet Access

Ping localhost, LAN clients, network devices - successful
Ping extarnal host ....host resolves then times out
Ping ISP DNS and public dns such as 126.96.36.199 times out
DC1 IP 172.16.16.21\24
DNS2 172.16.16.22 (DC2)
tracert to anything public resolves then times out..no hops
tracert to anything internal resolves and reaches in one hop
Route Print on DC1 and DC2 are identical
Steps taken to trouble shoot:
Removed DNS and tested.
Reinstalled DNS and tested.
Reset Firewall to defaults then reinstalled apropriate apps
Changed NIC DNS settings to various configurations
Removed latest IE10 related updates
Cleared DNS Cache
Re-registred machine with DNS
Spoke kindly to host machine
Screamed like a lunitic at host machine
Short of running the netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt command, I am at a loss as to where to go from here.
Thanks in advance for any assistance !
Thank you for the post.
Please disable ipv6 and reset "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" see if it works as per this thread:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserver8gen/thread/1de95852-3f10-48a6-9b15-41e1f7cd5adf
