Offline files deployment

    Question

  • Hi,

I´ve Windows Server 2008 R2 with Windows 7 clients. I need to deploy offline files technology.

The problem is that I followed all MS instructions, but it does not sync. User´s folder on the network share was automaticly created, but no files were moved.

    Thanks for advices.

  • Hi Petr,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums.

I suggest we check whether there is some anti-virus software on the Windows 7 client which can interfere with the offline files synchronization.

Also please check the article below to see if it can be helpful to you:

  • Hi,

I´m facing this issue also on the client without antivirus. I tried disable it, but no change. I´ll check the link you sent. Thanks.

  • Hi, I´ve the solution.

I must install hotfix on all affected client computers! After that Offline files works as expected.

Here is the hotfix page with a KB:
