Snipping tool

    Question

  • Is there a way of adding the snipping tool to Windows Server 2008 R2?   I can't believe that MS hasn't included this absolutely vital tool.

    You can use snipping tool in Windows 2008 R2, Did you install desktop experince feature?

    Fatih is right , Snipping Tool had been included in Desktop Experience feature, you have to install this feature this feature on your server host and try .

  • You can use https://captureitplus.codeplex.com/. It is a alternative application to Snipping tool, with lot of other features

  • In WS2008 R2 SP1 Standard, this feature is not available.
