  • Hi to all,

    We are using windows server 2003 standard edition. In that i installed veritas backup exec 10.0, while using these application suddenly system got restarted and i found system error in event viewer.

  • Hi,

     

    Based on my research, this issue seems to be caused by antivirus, you may try to disable antivirus and see if it works.

     

    By the way, due to using of veritas backup exec 10.0 instead of Microsoft backup products, you’d better ask sysmantec forum for help.

  • Hi Jeff,

     

    I am using symantic endpoint protection. I disabled and tried to take backup also. But the same error happened.

  • Just to make sure I understand the situation...You are using Backup Exec v10.0, and your attempts at performing a backup are yielding a system reboot?  Is that correct?
