  • Hi,

Are you able to ping the default gateway from other systems in your network.

Does the default gateway belongs to the same subnet in which you have configured your DC.

Check for any access rules configured on your firewall or router blocking the access.

  • Do you have VLANS ? Please see the configurations of Vlan and also disable the firewall rule on the server and try it

  • Make sure you are using the correct Subnet Mask.

Can you ping any other serves on the SAME subnet?

If you can ping the servers from the same subnet and subnet mask is correct, the issues is related to networking, cable problem, network port, network is not configured etc etc.

  • the subnet is correct. all the servers are on the same subnet. All servers are on the same vlan.  All the serveres are connected to the same switch and I can ping the default gateway from the othere servers so that would rule out a network issue?

  • Form this server, can you other server on the same VLAN?  If so, something wrong with network port on the switch.  Check the VLAN configuration.
