Audio issue

    Question

  • Hello all,

I have Server 2012 RC installed with desktop experience feature enabled as well as Windows audio service sturtap type set to Automatic. But after after some time my Creative X-Fi Titanium sound card stops working. I've tried reinstall drivers, disable/enable/install/reinstall card - nothing, i still cannot hear anything. All connectors connected properly. Same issue with latest official and beta drivers from Creative support site

Is there anyone who also experience same audio playback problems?

  • Hi,

What you used is a hardware, if the manufacturer doesn’t provide a compatible driver at  this momoent, then you have to wait.

  • Hi,

It is recommended that you contact Creative to check whether they have a compatible driver for your sound card. Thanks for your understanding.
