Windows boot error 0x000000f

    Question

  • In my windows server 2008 R2 OS when booting the machine to repair the computer option there is an error says 0x000000f (this boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible).So please tell me a remedy for this issue?

  • Hello,

    Do you have a backup?

    If yes, re-install the OS and restore from this backup.

    If this does not help, refer to that: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927391

    Also, please check your disks cables.

    Do you have a backup?

    if you can verify the  Boot Configuration in your Bios and  make sure that you select the right boot drive , and you can use this links it can you to resolve this error:
