Server 2012 Essentials: Server Folder Data is approx 3T.
So need a large drive to backup critical data.
I purchased some 3T drives, All failed to be recognized. So opted for 2 x 2T Drives, and wanted to use the old 1T drive.
Server Standard Supports Dynamic Disks and easy to expand. Essentials does not support Dynamic Drives, one has to ask why ?
Creating a Pool will also not work with Server Backup, from what i have read on forums.
So can anyone tell me HOW? I can created a large Storage Space to use as Backup ??
Backup is essential naturally..
As we known, Windows Server 2012 Essentials does not support backing up and restoring dynamic disks on client computers. Regarding storage pool and server backup issue on Windows Server 2012
Essentials, please try to refer to the thread below for details.
