     i receive in event log viewer the below error message:

    This is an generic error event which occurs when application stops responding. If you see only one or two error events, you may ignore them.

    Also, make sure, latest patches and service packs are installed on the Operating System.

    Event ID description says, Computer: User-PC , seems you have this error on client machine, not on Server. Please note that, this is a forum for Windows Servers. If the error mentioned w.r.t. any clent Operating system, you might want to create a new thread in appropriate forums such as Win XP, Vista or Win 7.

    As Moils said, this issue may cause by the antivirus programs. Please turn off antivirus programs for test.

    Also, please let us know what system operation did you use? If it is a Windows 7 or Vista, please post your question at Windows Client forum. Thanks for your understanding.

  • 1. Have you checked the problem history in the Action Center control panel?

    2. What application does this?

    3. Are there any antivirus software on this server? (Any exceptions set for application?)
