we've had an issue reinstalling .NET framework 2.0 on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 Enterprise server. I'm attempting the install from the redistributable file as the install isn't available from windows update.
The error we're getting is
Error 25012. Failed to install assembly 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\System.EnterpriseServices.dll' because one or more modules were streamed in which did not match those specified by the manifest. Invalid hash in the manifest.
I've uninstalled .NET framework 3.0 which was already on, but there is no option to uninstall .NET 2.0 or .NET 1.1.
Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated. I've tried using MicrosoftFixIt but that requires .NET 2.0 to run.
