Adding multiple IP address to a single NIC in Server 2008 Core

    Question

  •

Is is possible to multihome a single NIC under Server 2008 Core?  I have set the intial IP address on the NIC using netsh, but I not sure how to add a second IP address to the same NIC.

  • You used 'netsh interface ipv4 set' command to set the initial IP address. You can use 'netsh interface ipv4 add' to add more.
