Creating Splash Screen

    Question

  • Hi Team
I have a JPEG picture designed by my graphics team and now I want to use that JPEG picture as a  splash screen after his/her windows profile is loaded so that when user logs, he/she could see this splash screen. After some time this picture must be terminated automatically. Kindly suggest me if there is any Group Policy setting to  achieve this goal.

  • Make it part of the logon script... Invoke the display using whatever app you consider appropriate - and terminate the process corresponding to that app afterwards...

  • Hi Marcin
Thank you very much for your reply. Using HTA I'm able to display that image which was previously opening on phone and FAX viewer. I read that article was unable to find the tag/line to set the screen size and terminating this HTA application after particular time. Kindly help me.
