Excel 2010 64bit tuning under Xenapp 6

    Question

  • Hi there I am publishing a desktop through xenapp 6 it's a vmware virtual machine 2008 R2 12gb ram 4 vcpu's which has Office 2010 professional 64bit installed. I am noticing that the performance is really poor I can only get four to five users on the box without the cpu taking a real hammering and the box almost slowing to a halt this is especially bad when running excel. Does anyone have any tuning tips for Office under xenapp 6?

    Hi,

Do you have installed the Integration Services for your VMs?

For this case, please using Performance Monitor to monitor the performance of the server status, if the RAM or CPU loading is too high. Then you can find which process ID causing the problem.

This is also a XenApp issue. so if necessary, we may still need to initiate a new thread in Citrix forum for detailed and precise information about their product.
