  • Hi..

PC is working with Windows 7 & logged as normal domain user . If I logged as the user with admin privilege  , working fine. I was given full control permission ( C: Drive)  for the particular user also.

    still have issue

  • Hello,

as client machines do not run Windows server 2008 please contact the vendor from the installed software. They are responsible for the software and should provide you information about the required security settings.

If this is a self written program you can use ProcessMonitor to find NTFS settings on files/folders and registry keys where permissions must be changed so it will work correct even as domain users.

If you run OS versions higher then Windows XP it is often UAC (User account control) that must be adjusted with GPO settings so user may be able to run the programs.

So for the question the client OS forum is the one to ask your question except it is about configuring GPOs, then ask in http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverGP/threads?page=1 and add also the used OS version from the client OS.
