  • If you have BKF file already, you can use Windows NT Backup Restore Utility.  Have you tried this already?

  • I know this thread is old, but I'm looking to do the same thing...restore a bkf file on Server 2008.  The suggestion was to use the NT Backup Restore Utility to do this, but the requirements to install that utility include activating the feature, Removable Storage Manager.  On one hand, I see Microsoft says Removeable Storage Manger is not avialable for Server 2008, but on the other, it suggests using the NT Backup Restore Utility as the solution, which has RSM as a prerequisite.  Seems like a catch 22.  Any other options?

no need to install any features..
