  • Hai,

    One doubt!

    when we do restore system back on windows server, will we get Activated windows, if it was activated before the time of backup ?

    and where is the path Activation file located in windows server 2008 R2 ?

    If you are just doing the data restoration, nothing will happen to your activation status.

    In case you are doing system state restore, it will ask you to Activate Windows.
