Difference between Trusted Root Certification Authorities store and the Third-party Root Certification Authorities

  • hi,

    what are actual differences between the two local certificate stores, the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" and the "Third-party Root Certification Authorities". Both are trusted. What else?

    Third-Party Root Certification Authorities is a subnet of Trusted Root Certification Authorities.

    Trusted Root Certification Authorities includes all of the certificates in the Third-Party Root CAs store plus root certificates from your organization and Microsoft. Third-Party Root Certification Authorities only includes Trusted root certificates from CAs other than Microsoft and your organization.
