Most likely the answer is yes. (I can't see that changing any time soon, especially with the enhancements that are on the way)

Hi,There are Hyper-V Server 2008 and Hyper-V Server 2008 R2, so I suspect that there is also a free version of Hyper Server after Windows 8 release.

Microsoft has integrated Hyper-V r3 into 8 OS client (developer preview versions of 8)
that's to say that it seems that they continue to encourage people to test and use their hypervisor. I think the answer would be yes.
