已答复 call fails after 6-7 seconds

    hi, i am trying to make a pc-pc call where one user is internal one is external, the call connects audio is sent for 5-6 seconds after that it gets disconnected. i have no firewall what so ever. in event log of local machine i can see the below error

    A SIP request made by Communicator failed in an unexpected manner (status code 0).

    I would be interested in the answer you get because my issue is the same and I have a thread open for it too. Everything works except p2p call between an internal and external user.

    Normal, this behaviour is of misconfigured Firewall/routing. How is your Edge configured, with one or three IP addresses. have you tried to make a pc-pc call with two external clients?

    Please try to find more logs about this issue in Lync FE server and Edge server Logs Viewer. But you'd better run Lync Server Logging tool on the Lync FE server and find more logs to find the media flow route trace.

    i do not have any firewall configured, all ips with edge are correct, my issue was one of the users have more than one ip on his laptop which was causing the problem,
