new owner
- i have a pc which was previously owned. how do i get the previous owners name off my hard drive, and re register windows?

- re registering windows is not necessary
go to the control panel make a new user name and assignh yourself as the admin of the machien then reboot, when the mahcine comes back up go to control panel and click on user accounts and delete the name you dont want if you are the admin it will allow this and when you reboot after changing this windows will be yours
