  you can create custom HTTPHandler . With this you can check whether current page is default page . if it is true then it should automatically redirect to Person.aspx

  concept remains same. Either you redirect from default.aspx or person.aspx.

  
  

  I suggest you create a feature and deploy to to MYSite root application. So this feature will available in MYSite zone.  Once after avtication it work to redirect from one page to another .
