We just installed a fresh copy of Small Business Server Essentials, and everything went very smooth. After setting up users and shares and a few other basic items, we wanted to install and test the Office365 Integration Module. We downloaded the OIM from the MS site, and tried to run the install. However, it is failing with the error "This update does not apply to this computer".
After walking through the prep steps at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh531569.aspx#BKMK_StepOne , we realized that our install is missing the updated "Update Rollup for Microsoft Windows (KB2554629)".
After following all normal procedures (checking Windows Update repeatedly, rebooting, checking again, ensuring that no updates were hidden, etc), we are at a loss. Contacted MS Office 365 support, and they have directed us to MS OS support. Before submitting a ticket, I wanted to see if there was any feedback or experience on this issue from anyone else.
