Is WMI for SCVMM available?

  Hi,

  There is a public WMI api for Hyper-V but not for SCVMM. The public programming API for SCVMM is currently powershell. There is no public web service available yet for SCVMM.

  Are you running into technical limitations using the powershell API or were you looking for a WMI/SOAP api becuase of your existing tools/investments?

  I believe you`re looking for the Service Provider Foundation which is currently available as part of the SC 2012 SP1 CT2 build.

  This will give you a web service and API against the VMM server.
