    The Compatability checker seems to not want Live OneCare to run on Win 7 installation. I put it on my son's (8 years old) computer and almost can't sleep without some anti-virus running there. Is there something I can do to make the two work together happily?

    OneCare is not compatible with Windows 7 nor will it ever be. Microsoft has discontinued the product and will be introducing a new, free, product call
    Microsoft Security Essentials. It is now in beta testing.  I use NOD32 v4 (not free) on one computer and AVAST (free) on another.
