    Hi ,

This update KB2529073 will resolve the problem that binary files in some USB drivers are not updated after you install Windows 7 SP1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Whether the USB devices are working properly?

Also, please test the issue in Safe Mode and Clean Boot environment.

In addition, please check if there are any errors in event log when the programs crashed, and collect the event log for further research:

    1. Click "Start", input "eventvwr" (without quotation marks) in the Search bar and press Enter.

    2. Right click on "Application" on the left frame, choose "Save Log file As"; in the pop-up window, click to choose the Desktop icon on the left frame, input "app" in the "File name" blank, and then click “Save”.

    3. Right click on "System", with the same method, save it as "sys".

    4. Locate the two saved log files on the Desktop and send them to us.

You can refer to the following link to upload the information:

    Hi ,

After checking the event log you uploaded, there are some crash or hang errors related to IE or Office product.

We can remove the IE add-ons to troubleshoot the IE issue.

1.In Internet Explorer, click Tools and click Manage add-ons.

2.Disable the add-ons and keep the needed items on.

3.After finding the related item, double click the item and select Remove.

    4.Restart Internet Explorer.

If you were encountering the crash issue with Explorer.exe.

This kind of issue can also be caused by some third party applications which are not compatible with the new updates. Please disable all the third party plug-ins in Explorer.exe by using Shellviewer.

    Hi,

thanks for your suggestion for IE, i will do that.

about Explorer.exe crashes. i already used shellviewer and disabled Abode acrobat and other software. That resolved only the right click hanging issue and explorer.exe crashes but hanging with MS Office Product is still there.

    please advise.

    thanks

    Hi ,

I am glad to hear the explorer.exe issue was resolved.

I wonder if the Office product only hangs when trying to print.

If so, I suggest that we can remove the remove the printer and reinstall it to check whether it can resolve the problem.

In addition, for Office issue, it is recommended to post a new question in the Microsoft Office Forums for further discussion.

    Best Regards,
