    I was thinking... why Microsoft do not put one antivirus on the microsoft windows 7 packet
    Is like Linux, they put a lot of programs on the seem packe

    Because that would almost certainly violate the terms of the anti-trust settlement.  One of the key issues/complaints was Microsoft's practice of bundling apps into the OS, thereby providing Microsoft with an unfair advantage.  Whether that was ever really true is a different story - certainly was on some things but with others it always seemed to be a pretty weak excuse for bad software and poor business models. At the same time as they unbundle IE 8, WMP, Windows Mail, Photo Gallery, etc., don't bet on them bundling in a free service.  Of course, if you want, you will be able to download Microsoft Security Essentials as a free package - it just won't be preinstalled. So far I am hearing very positive things about MSE....
