I have Virtual PC 2007 installed and I understand its limitation, but I'm not clear on what the alternative method for hosting a 64bit OS is for Windows 7.
2012年5月18日 15:11Virtual PC doesn't support 64-bit OS's, so you're only option is touse something else. There's VMWare Player, VirtualBox, or Parallels, that could work for you.VMWare player is probably more stable but more resource intensive, andif VirtualBox works on your hardware, it usually works pretty well. It's been some time since I tried Parallels so I don't really know thestate of that is.And then there's also VMWare Workstation which is more full featuredproduct, but it's not free.

2012年5月18日 15:32Thanks for the quick reply Bob. - I had a feeling that I was going to have to go back to VMware. I'm installing it as I write this.
the new Parallels Workstation 6 is pretty solid. Picked up two copies when it was on sale for $9.99.
Has some of the nice VPC features like drag and drop mounting of ISOs.
