What is the best solution to install a Win2k8 R2 virtual server on a 64bit Win7 host system?

I have Virtual PC 2007 installed and I understand its limitation, but I'm not clear on what the alternative method for hosting a 64bit OS is for Windows 7.

Virtual PC doesn't support 64-bit OS's, so you're only option is touse something else. There's VMWare Player, VirtualBox, or Parallels,that could work for you.VMWare player is probably more stable but more resource intensive, andif VirtualBox works on your hardware, it usually works pretty well.It's been some time since I tried Parallels so I don't really know thestate of that is.And then there's also VMWare Workstation which is more full featuredproduct, but it's not free.

the new Parallels Workstation 6 is pretty solid. Picked up two copies when it was on sale for $9.99.
Has some of the nice VPC features like drag and drop mounting of ISOs.
