    hi,

I created disk in EVA storage. I cant get pass through disk with \\?\GLOBALROOT to vm. I see disk on cluster nodes. I added them to VM. How could I refresh VM configuration in Failover cluster to see the disk attached?

    please help

    Hi,

    Please check the following blog.

Vincent, i am looking at it all the day, but no luck, I know it is working, but cant get how, please help.

    what are main steps?

I see Basic offline unallocated disk in HOST disk management.

I shut down VM and add disk to VM through Settings/SCSI controller/ Hard Drive/ Add /Physical hard disk.... Only one machine will use this LUN.

I start the Vm, I see disk in disk management, what should I do next?

    After refresh I got:

The following disk path was found to be required by the virtual
machine 'server2', but it is on a disk that has not yet been added to the
cluster: '\\.\PhysicalDrive13'. This disk must be added to the cluster to make
    this virtual machine highly available.

Virtual machine 'server2' is configured to use disks that are not
part of the cluster, but are available to the cluster and could be added to the
cluster. To ensure this virtual machine can be clustered and highly available
all of its storage must be present in the cluster

    please help

Try adding a LUN using VM built-in iSCSI initiator.

If the disk is presented to all cluster nodes, in Cluster Manager, right-click Storage and choose Add Disk. It should appear there.

The disk needs to be part of the cluster, not just presented to all nodes, before it can be added to an existing cluster resources (a VM).

    Hi,

If you add a LUN to a virtual machine as pass-through disk, you will not be able to use this disk in cluster.
