Upgrade to 4.5 SP1
- Hello Newsgroup,
I have the following Problem with a Upgrade from a 4.5 Management Server (Version: 4.5.1.15580) to SP1. Every time got the "Error 25100 Internal Error" After this a rollback happens.
OS: Server 2003 SP2 on VMware ESX 3.5, SQL Server 2005 on another Host, AD: Server 2003 R2
Has anybody an Idea or the same Problem??

is this a possible workaround??
- uninstall app-v 4.5 but keep Database
- install app-v 4.5 sp1 and use the existing app-v database
I tested this on my TestServer and it works.

Sounds like its worth a shot. Perhaps you should do a backup of the database before you do the uninstall?
