Problem with First Name & Last Name
- i have Microsoft exchange server 2003
the problem is that one of my client is using OWA by web browser IE 8. He is taking access by web browser OWA properly.
but when he recieve any email from another person inside the exchange id or outside the exchange id so themail message first and last name shows of the user just recieve the name of himself.
my Client is Director Finance
when director finance open mail box by OWA its fine but when i send a email message to my Director Finance so the message should shows my name and my designation and my last name. but its not hapenning. the first and last name shows of the Director Finance and when i open the email message so then it shows correct email address of sender. but the sender name does not shows. wats prb it is please help me soon..

- Zohaib, not getting your point but i assume , its some thing to do with display name while sending emails outside.

i m telling you in simple way
when i login my email account by Outlook Web Access by Internet Explorer so i recieved all emails by my names. means my name is zohaib hussain and when i login my emails so all emails are showsing from my name. while the email messages are coming from another departments and another persons. but it just shows my name. there is not any issue sending or recieving emails emails are working properly but does not show the actual sender name.
instead of sender name the email message showing my name.. this is the problem is being.
means if you send me an email so your name should show on the display first and last name Raaj sharma.
but its does not happening email message show just my name zohaib hussain. and when i open any message so the message email ID is of sender. but the name is not of sender...- Ok. Looks to me , you are hit by Spam. Confirm if they are spam or genuine emails?
Stop the spam with some solution or configure IMF on your exchange 2003.

Educate the user not to use company email to register any form on internet website
Also you might be in need of some Anti Spam solution.

its 100% genuine emails which i m recieving from my colleagues i do not recieve like bulk or spam i recieve official emails. how i can stop spam on exchange and what is the best solution for this ?- I suspect this may be View problem. can you double check same by login to Outlook?
