I don't know exactly what you're searching. But BestBuy.ca has this offer: http://www.bestbuy.ca/marketing/windows7/EN/default.asp?CMP=ILC-BBY_hmpg1_slide2.

That's not a free offer and I already have Vista Ultimate. Where is the free upgrade offer to Windows 7 ULTIMATE for people that got scammed buying it?

Click the site before you make a comment so you can be more informed on what I am asking instead of linking me to a pathetic retailer that's offering is nothing of what I am stating!!!

    Light-tower,

I clicked the site you refered to and it said that I have to have cookies enabled to visit there. Why? I declined their invitation.

Your tone, Light-tower, is abusive toward Sanmartin when he is only trying to help you. Get a grip and find a better way of dealing with the same frustration many who bought into Vista Ultimate have.

Consider the light shining from your tower...
Regards from the Valley of the Sun.

    Light-tower,

before grumbling around, you should better look at the link I told you. You must click on "Upgrade info for software customers" and will receive the notice

"Buy Windows Vista (Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate) starting June 26, 2009 and get a Free upgrade to Windows 7 when available. ... In order to receive your free copy of Windows 7, bring your original proof of purchase to the Geek Squad counter in a store near you."

And before you scold me again, yes, only a free upgrade from Vista Ultimate to 7 Prof is offered. You have insights that this is different in the U.S.? Your link requires authentication, unfortunately.

The Geek Squad. Why the Geek Squad? I would rather deal with Microsoft directley instead of a retail whom I never bought this software from anyway.

??? The Geek Squad is Best Buy's technical operation. If you buy Vista (or a machine with Vista installed) after June 26, the selling vendor is responsible for handling the upgrade option. If you want to deal with Microsoft directly, then buy your copy of Vista directly from Microsoft.
