adding Exchange edge in forefront management console

  “is it possible to add our Exchange Edge (with FPE installed) to our internal Forefront Management Console that is installed in our internal network?” – if you don’t install them on the same server, it is possible.

  Hi Nick,

   

  Just a follow-up question, although the internal network can see (ping, firewall ports are all open) the exchange edge, it doesn't appear on the forefront management console, any idea why?

  Hi Nick,

  I'm also having problems with FPSMC - Forefront Protection Server Management Console, it seems that it cannot detect FPE on the DMZ.

  Current setup of FPSMC:

  1. It is installed in a single server

  2. The server is joined in the domain

   

  Main Problem:

  FPSMC cannot detect FPE located at DMZ.

   

  Question:

  Is there a way to see the stats of FPE on DMZ using FPSMC?
