• [資訊] 關於Office 2003 RMS保護文件無法開啟

  Dear All,
  從12/11日起微軟陸續接獲客戶的反應，Office 2003無法開啟原先被RMS保護的文件。
  當用戶端嚐試開啟時，會出現：無法預期的錯誤。
  經過緊急調查後發現這是因為Office 2003其中的一張憑證過期所導致的問題。
  解法方法請參考下列內容：

  Symptom

  Starting on December 11, 2009, customers using Office 2003 will not be able to open Office 2003 documents protected with the Rights Management Service (RMS) or save Office 2003 documents protected with RMS. The following error message may be displayed when attempting to Open RMS Documents using Office 2003:

   

  "Unexpected error occurred. Please try again later or contact your system administrator"

                                                                                                                    

  This symptom affects Office 2003 products used in conjunction with RMS, including Word 2003, Word Viewer 2003, Excel 2003, Excel Viewer 2003, PowerPoint 2003 and Outlook 2003. It does not affect Office 2007. 

   

  Solution

  A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft, and the whole package includes the following three packages:

   

  • KB798551: Description of the Office 2003 documents protected with AD RMS/RMS Hotfix package: December 11, 2009
  • KB978557: Description of the Excel Viewer documents protected with AD RMS/RMS Hotfix package: December 11, 2009
  • KB978558: Description of the Word Viewer documents protected with AD RMS/RMS Hotfix package: December 11, 2009

  
  Prerequisites

  To install the hotfix successfully, the related product (Office 2003, Word Viewer 2003, or Excel Viewer 2003) must be updated on or above SP3 version first.

   

  Hotfix Download information

  Please refer to the following links to download and install the proper hotfix in time:

  NOTE: Passwords expire every 7 days so download the package within that period to insure you can extract the files.  If you receive two passwords it means you are receiving the fix during a password change cycle.  Use the second password if you download after the indicated password change date.
