Not a question, more of a tip. We're trying to get FIM2010 RC0 running and one of the things I ran into was the "Management Identity Lifecycle Manager Service" for ILM wouldn't start after a restart but it would always start if you manually started it on Server 2008.
I'm assuming it's a timing issue but the workaround I ran into was in Server 2008 to change the Startup mode of the "Management Identity Lifecycle Manager Service" from "Automatic" to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"
I'm assuming this is because the Server is a honking fast Dell server :)
