    Hi,

    I have MS-BI ( SSRS, SSAS), and SharePoint 2010 servers from different feceilities, in the same domain.

    Can I have access, permissions etc., SharePoint 2010 -> MS-BI -> SharePoint 2010 same.

    or, will it die some where?

    Note: Servers were not installed in Integrated mode.

    Plz guide me, with best parctices for better access and persisitence.

    Hi ,

    While configuring report server service configuration ,you can choose from four accounts:

    1.  built-in account: Network Service, Local System, or Local Service
    2. Use another account

    Local Service is a built-in account that is like an authenticated local Windows user account. Services that run as the Local Service account access network resources as a null session with no credentials. This account is not appropriate for intranet deployment scenarios where the report server must connect to a remote report server database or a network domain controller to authenticate a user prior to opening a report or processing a subscription.

    For more information about the accounts ,please refer to this site:

    Service Account: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189964(v=sql.105).aspx

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply!

    But, how can I implement per user identity in NTLM while connecting to SSAS?

    (I read some where that we need to hv karboros.)

    Is there any work around solution by using NTLM?
