I have a home network witn 4 computers - 2 WinXP, 1 Vista and 1 Win7. From Win7 I can look into all other computers and can read and write. But I cannot look into Win7 from other computers. I see the shared folder in Win7, but I cannot go through.
How can I push aside all obstacles?
    Thank you
    Lev

I find that the best way to share both Vista and Win7 files with earlier OS versions is to enable Public file sharing and put all files to be shared in Public folders. I have no noticed any difference in behaviour between Vista and Win7 with public folder sharing.

    To Bill Grant
    Thank you for your reply.
You're right, I can use the Public faulder under Win7 to write and read from any other computer in my home network. But the Public faulder is on the system drive, but I would like to have access from other computers of my network on the another, non-system drive of Win7.
In my computer under Vista, I easily managed to do so, and in my computer under Win7 I cannot.

    Best wishes
    Lev

open the network and sharing center---->>>>Change advanced sharing setings

here is where you set the level network sharing, then you can go "share" the folder as you wish.

You need to know how you want your network (secure or wide open)

    Thanks, Bubbapcguy

I tried many times to change settings in the network and sharing center of Win7, but without results. I cannot look into non-system drive of Win7 from other computers of my home network.
