    I got some issue with deploying a workspace, i followed all instructions on the medv 2.0 trial document. i ran the workspace assisted to check where was the problem and i discovered it was when run c:\Program Files\Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization\FtsCompletion.exe .

    Then after i check the virtual image and there is no such path. There is something else that need to be installed on the XP computer, or im missing something else.

    Hi,

    May I know what OS are you using now?  Please kindly review the system requirements of MED-V 2.0, it is only support for Windows 7. The workspace and host computer are different.

    We are trying to install this on a windows 7 x64 computer.

    On the trial guide.

    On the sysprep step some values need to be stored

    1. Regional Settings:  Click Next, unless specific regional settings are required.
    2. Languages:  Select any languages required to support end users. Click Next.
    3. Install Printers:  Click Next.
    4. Run Once:  Add the following commands, and then click Next.
      • wmic /namespace:\\root\default path SystemRestore call Disable %SystemDrive%\
      • c:\Program Files\Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization\FtsCompletion.exe

    this last step on the run once ftscompletation it fails always. there is something else that need to be done ?

    Does any error code of message appear? Here is one similar discussion can be referred to.  And the last reply in the discussion may be helpful.

    thanks this worked. seem that need to be run on a clean eviroment . my computer had some older enviroments preventing this from starting correctly.

    Installed the VM on a new computer it worked like a charm.
