QuestionInconsistency in Public Folders Calendar in Outlook2003 & Exchange 2003 SMB edition

We are having this problem in our office. The setup is MS 2003 Server SMB with Exchange 2003 enabled. Domain structure, 10 users, all on Outlook 2003, Caching enabled.

All systems (a combination of XP Pro SP2 and W2K SP4) have all of the Critical Patches applied and so does the server, with 2003 SP1 and Exchange 2003 SP2. The server and all systems have been rebooted as of this morning.

I've setup a public calendar folder where everyone has owner permissions, to add and modify the company calendar with various events.

Everything worked fine until yesterday when suddenly there seem to appear discrepancies on how people would view various events in the calendar.

Here is how it seems to be working - if Shannon or I set the event to a
single day in the Public folder calendar, then on Mae's and Antoanetta's it shows as multiple days.

If Mae set's it to single day, then it shows as multiple day on mine and
Shannon's.  This situation happens with all 10 systems in the office. Mae's and Antoanetta's are opposite of everyone else.

I've tried to find any solutions, but I can't even figure out what query to use on Google for this problem, because whatever I tried, didn't help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Liviu

The exactly same thing just started happening here!! We've been using public folders for calendars for years, as long as I've been working here, that I'm going on 9 years. And I'm telling you, this just started happening with our public calendars.

I would love to know what the fix is. It's creating a lot of problems here. This along with the DST bug of 2007 has made for a bad month for me.

Here's the answer. It's due to the new day light savings time patches.

To get it cleared up you need to make sure the time has been fixed on every computer. There is a registry hack out there floating around for Win2K you should be able to find. Then there's a tool for fixing Outlook calendar events.
