    One of our client want to deploy spam filtering solution. They already have ISA server 2006 with Exchange server 2007. Their problem is they receive number of spam every day. Can they deploy extra feature for spam filtering with ISA Server. They don’t want to migrate TMG server. What is the best solution, tell me please.

    Install Forefront Protection for Exchange on the edge server.
     
    Subscribe to a 3rd-party service and have e-mail routed through there.

    thanks for your response.

    They don't want to migrate new solution. Is there any problem to protect spam with ISA server 2007.Is there any extra spam filtering feature in ISA server 2006.

    I don't understand your line "Subscribe to a 3rd-party service"

    If they don't have one now then anything they use will be new.

    ISA 2007? I don't think there is a 2007 version.
     
    There's no integration with ISA for anything I know of besides the
    inadequate "SMTP filter" in ISA.

    MessageLabs.

    sorry for wrong typing, Client server is ISA server 2006. How can i deploy this scenario,

    If i choose FOPE for spam filtering , any risk involved on client exchange server and their email routing because this is in online server. and any performance issue.

    FOPE isn'r running on your servers, it runs in a MS data center. You
    modify your MX records) to send e-mail to them, they filter it and
    pass it to you. Your servers should accept e-mail only from FOPE. The
    same is true of any other 3rd-party service.

    First of all, ISA Server doesn't offer any kind of "spam fiter" it only implements an "SMTP filter" which helps protecting the mailserver from attempts to exploit vulnerabilities; then, if you have an exchange server sitting behind ISA and published using the regular ISA wizard, you may just install/configure the Exchange spam filters; to do so, please refer to this discussion and to the links found there and which may/will possibly help you getting started
