Hi,

We've been listed on spamhaus last week (thursday) and have since corrected the issue, got delisted everywhere and have been sending out mail happily.

However, several of our customers cannot be reached, all of them for the same reason. The bounce message says the following:

Your message wasn't delivered because of security policies. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator.

The following organization rejected your message: DB3EHSMHS004.bigfish.com.

_____

Sent by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

Diagnostic information for administrators:

Generating server: MTLAPPS005.corp.stingraydigital.com

<our customer's email address> DB3EHSMHS004.bigfish.com #550 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [208.84.104.146] blocked using Spamhaus Blocklist, mail from IP banned; To request removal from this list see http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=208.84.104.146 . ##

Now, when we click on the link, Spamhaus says we are not listed on their list, which is correct...

I've sent several emails to delist@bigfish.com, but always get a canned response which looks like this:

Hello ,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Online Services Technical Support. This email is in reference to ticket number 1182630765, which was opened in regards to your delisting request for 208.84.104.146

It appears that the IP you submitted is not currently listed on any of our block lists. This may be due to an earlier delisting request that has already been processed.

If you continue to receive Non-Delivery Receipts (NDRs), or "bounce messages," that indicate that the IP address is still blocked by our spam filtering system, please forward one of the messages to us and we will investigate further.

Thank you again for contacting Microsoft Online Services technical support and giving us the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,
Sanjay Aiwale
Microsoft Online Services Technical Support

Of course, I've sent them copies of our bounced emails, but they don't respond...

Any ideas as to how to get in touch with those guys ?

Thanks !

I doubt that they use the spamhaus.org lists directly. They probably
do a scheduled download of the DNS zones. Of course I don't know the
schedule of those zone refreshes. How long after you've been delisted
at spamhaus has it been (more curiosity than anything else)?
