     Hello.

Contrary to SCL (Spam Confidence Level), which is a value calculated for each non-authenticated incoming MESSAGE and with which Exchange stamps the headers of incoming email messages, the SRL (Sender Reputation Level) is a value calculated by Exchange for each incoming SENDER.

These are excerpts from Exchange 2007 documentation:

"The SRL is a number from 0 through 9 that predicts the probability that a specific sender is a spammer or otherwise malicious user.

Sender Reputation [antispam agent] retrieves the sender's current SRL rating from the sender profile that's persisted about that sender in the Edge Transport server database.

When a sender is added to the IP Block list, Sender Reputation deletes the profile for the sender.

After a sender has sent 20 messages, Exchange maintains a Sender Reputation Level (SRL) analogous to the SCL for content filtering."

I would like to know how could an Exchange Administrator see/query what specific SRL (Sender Reputation Level) has the Exchange "Sender Reputation AntiSpam Agent" assigned to a particular sender at a given point in time.

Also, I would like to know whether that "SRL database" kept in the Exchange 2007 "edge server" survives a reboot of the server, and/or whether it survives a restart of the Exchange Transport service in the edge server.

Further, how could an Exchange Administrator flush/delete the SRL database kept in the edge server, to start anew the data harvesting process which the Sender Reputation Agent does to calculate the SRL for each sender?

I could not find information regarding those points anywhere.

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks.
