Lifecam NX-6000
- Hi all,
I run vista business x64 and Lifecam NX 6000. I've updated to the last 1.4 version of the software, and although it fixed some problems, it also created some new ones. When in a video call on msn messenger, the microphone and speaker volume is playing up. When I talk, the mic volume goes up and the speakers volume goes down, and the other partie talk the opposite happen, so if we talk at the same time or in a very close time from each other, we can not hear what the other is saying, a bit like with the old Walkie Talkie. Any ideas how to fix that?
Thanks

Hi,
Before moving on, please let me know whether the issue only occurs on MSN messenger. Does this issue occur on other IM?
You can try to verify audio setting in MSN messenger first. To configure it:
1.In MSN messenger, go to Tools and then Audio & Video Setup.
2.Follow the on-screen instructions.
Then, please verify the microphone settings on Windows Vista's side.
1.Right-click on the speaker icon on the system tray.
2.Select "Recording Devices".
3.In the resulting dialog, ensure that the "Recording" tab is selected.
4.Then, please choose Microphone and click Configure.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
If only MSN messenger has this problem, it is recommended to contact messenger support to resolve this issue. Thank you for your understanding.
Hope it helps.
I must admit, I only use msn messenger so I haven't tried on other, I'll do that tonight.
But the thing is that it was not doing it until I update the lifecam software.
I did check the msn messenger and vista sounds settings, but there was nothing that helped.Hi,
